- The entrance to Red Town Trail head. The trail to the cave is across the street from the parking.
- This is about 20 feet away from the parking lot. Dry creek bed with mossy gnarled trees.
- Across from the parking along the main road is this structure.
- We’ll have to be careful, there was a warning on the trail.
- About 1/4 of a mile from the trail head is the cave.
- It’s easy enough to shoot over or through the fence.
- This is with a 17mm lens but it’s still tall enough to stand in and about 10-15 feet deep.
- Near the cave was this random bench.
- Lots of dry creek beds and small bridges.
- About a third of a mile from the trail head across a large sturdy bridge is the waterfall.
- Jumping the fence and walking down a small hill brings us to the waterfall. Plenty of room for you two to stand as well as lights and tripod.
- Down stream from the waterfall the entire stream has a wooden bottom. This is left over from the coal mining days. Water is 2-3 inches deep.
- This is about half a mile up the trail. It’s part of a steam train turntable.
- Half a mile up the trail is this walkway and stairs. BEyond another few tenths of a mile is a place called “Cindermine” but I didn’t go that far and can’t find any photos.
- This is a neighborhood park about a mile away. I thought it could be the comedy pictures. Dragur sliding on a slide.
